In my continued work to upgrade my Renaissance wardrobe, I made this houpelande
out of a gray velvet upholstry fabric with a white brocade lining for the sleeves
and collar. The hat in this picture was borrowed, but clearly I need to make
myself one to complete the outfit! The second picture shows the day after, when
I finally got around to sewing on the buttons and trim. It'll be ready for next time!
And to help lend to a "period" atmosphere, I made chair covers for a pair of folding chairs.
And I finally finished trimming the tunics I made for Pennsic last year!
