Continuing with sideless surcotes, the picture on the left shows one made of a gold/white brocade that would make a
gorgeous wedding gown. Under the surcote is a peach linen tunic. Someday I'll use the royal blue
raw silk I have to make a fitted undergown.
On the right, I went with a beautiful teal brocade over my ol' gold dress for my first foray into Italian Renaissance garb. Thanks to Mistress Annalena for all her bodice fitting/pattern-making help! Oddly enough, these two pictures were taken a week apart. I think I need to add more Italian Ren to my wardrobe... it does wonderful things for my figure! |
